Well, I have 7 mail-days left before I am supposed to show up for Jury Duty. I sent back the proper paperwork citing KRS 29A.100(4) and explained that I am a stay-at-home breastfeeding mother.
I know the law is on my side…. but is the United States Postal Service? I’m really not sure how long “normal” is to wait for my letter of postponement, but as July 30th creeps closer and closer, the knot in my stomach is getting bigger and bigger (oh, well, maybe that’s the new baby….)
For record (and in case Big Brother really is a blog fan), I look forward to serving as a juror in the future. It just may be a while down the road… I may be nursing babies for a long, long time.
