OK, here’s a local news clip (WHAS 11) that I found on YouTube. It has some add-ons, but still shows the news story in full. It’s from December of 2007, and covers when President hopeful Rudy Giuliani visited Louisville for campaign funds.
I know not much of this matters anymore now that he’s dropped out of the race, but 1) I thought it was funny that he was greeted by Ron Paul supporters, and 2) I’m so irritated at our former Representive Anne Northup who was interviewed at the end of the piece. She encouraged local voters to consider Rudy. Anne was my area’s representative for years, and [apparently] pandered to the conservative, Christian voters in our district.
She’s not in office anymore, and Giuliani is out of the presidential picture, but this clip still makes me mad. I imagine many “conservatives” [which I consider myself to be.... but not the type of conservative that conservatives think they are....I'm taking back the term!] still look to Ms. Northup for political guidance, and I wish they wouldn’t if this is where she is attempting to lead.
