What am I doing here? July 7, 2008

I don’t know.

This blog was primarily started, I think — maybe I should go check my first couple of posts — to have a space to keep articles and studies, as well as ‘think out loud.’  Of course there’s the occasional post on various local things, but I think this blog’s purpose has evolved as my obsessions have.  VBAC… birth…. pregnancy…. cesareans…. etc.

I’m in a wonderful and sleep-deprived state of being right now that is leaving me blog-post-idea-less. “Wonderful” because I have a newborn via a beautiful homebirth after a cesarean (HBAC).  “Sleep deprived” because I have a newborn and a toddler.

I’m done ‘fighting’ … for now.  I got my VBAC, so my energy is elsewhere.  Maybe during my next pregnancy, those topics will pick-up again.  And  as I come across more information (for personal research or for ICAN), it’ll end up here.

But I admit, it’s nice to just be here right now.

So… I don’t know where this blog will head.  Honestly, it’ll probably stay what it’s always been:  as random as my mind is :-)

Sometime soon, I’ll have to sit and scan through the posts.  I think I’d like to see my transformation from planning a VBAC to getting a HBAC.

what am I doing here?  apparently rambling  ;-)

off to bed…

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
